Terms & Conditions: Gene Cafe Giveaway Promotion

 

1. By entering the promotion, entrants confirm that they have read and agree to be bound by these terms and conditions, plus all rules and guidelines applicable to the use of the platform you are entering via

 

2. The Promoter is Morningstar Roasters, subsidiary of Mocha Mondo Coffee Limited, Unit 6D Coquet Enterprise Park, Amble Morpeth NE65 0PE.

 

3. How to enter:

a. To enter this promotion, entrants must follow @morningstarroasteruk on Instagram, like Morningstar Roasters on FB,  like and save the giveaway post on Instagram or like the giveaway post on Facebook, tag 3 people on the Instagram or Facebook post that you feel would also like the chance to win.

b.  Entrants must be UK residents, aged 18 years and over. This promotion is not open to any employees of the Promoter or any of their affiliate companies, their families, agents or anyone else connected with this promotion.

c. Single entries only permitted. Entries submitted on behalf of another person will not be accepted and joint submissions are not allowed. Incomplete, illegible, misdirected or late entries will not be accepted. 

d. If applicable, copyright in all entries shall belong to the Promoter. Entries shall not be returned to entrants.

e. No purchase is necessary, however internet access is required.

 

4. Promotion Period: The promotion is open to entries from 04.06.24 and ends at 11:59pm on 18.06.24

 

5. Prize: 

a. A Gene Cafe CBR-101E (£526.00 RRP) and 200g of green coffee beans. Total value is £540.00 and will be awarded to one winner only.

b. The prize is non-refundable, non-transferable and non-exchangeable and there is no cash alternative offered. The Promoter reserves the right to offer an alternative prize of equal or greater value. 

 

6. How the winner is selected and notified: 

a. The winner will be randomly selected from all valid entries received during the Promotion Period by a randomiser computer program. 

b. The winner will be contacted within 3 days of the draw via Instagram Direct Messaging to the account used on the original entry using the contact details provided with their entry and will be asked for their full name and address. If a winner declines a prize or fails to respond within the required period, they forfeit any right to the prize. If a winner fails to respond within 14 days of the initial contact, a redraw will take place from the remaining valid entries to select a new winner. A winner may be required to submit valid identification before receiving their prize. 

The Promoter reserves the right to discount any inappropriate or offensive entries and to disqualify any entries if the Promoter, at its sole discretion, believes that there has been an attempt to manipulate or tamper with the operation of the promotion (including, without limitation, by setting up multiple social media accounts in order to submit multiple entries).

 

7. The Promoter reserves the right to modify, discontinue (temporarily or permanently) this promotion without notice in exceptional circumstances. 

 

8. Entrants do agree to be bound by all decisions made by the Promoter, and these decisions will be final in all matters relating to the promotion.

 

9. The Promoter will not accept any responsibility for any network, computer or software failures and will assume no responsibility for lost, delayed or misdirected entries. The Promoter shall not accept any responsibility for infringement of any third-party intellectual property rights caused by entrants entering this promotion.

 

10. The Promoter and its associated companies will not be liable for any loss (including, without limitation, indirect, special or consequential loss or loss of profits) expense or damage which is suffered or sustained in connection with this promotion or accepting or using any prize.

 

11. This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by or associated with Gene Cafe, Instagram, Facebook, Meta or any other social media platform. By entering, all entrants acknowledge that Instagram does not bear any responsibility for the promotion and entrants release Instagram from any and all liability in relation to this promotion. All information provided by entrants will remain with the Promoter and will not be shared with Instagram or any other social media platform.

 

12. The Promoter will use entrants’ personal data for the purposes of selecting a winner and contacting said winner. 

 

13. These terms and conditions shall be governed in accordance with the laws of England and all parties agree that any dispute or actions arising in connection with the terms and conditions shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Courts of England.
